The bot was hand coded by Kim Wincen who makes no claims to being a software engineer (not even a 0.1X engineer). To be honest if I was a software engineer I wouldn't be coding up a fake fantasy Apple II and to run a character creator unless I was also going to make it run DOOM.
Initially coded on Visual Studio Code until I remembered who JavaScript syntax works then I moved to Vim.
I expect to have a full review of GiantLands: The 3rd Age up soon, and that doing this ridiculous project has been helpful in incentivizing me to examine steps in-depth and think about how they actually have to be enacted.
Finally this is a very minimal JavaScript app, so I absolutely do not provide any warranty or accept any responsibility for any damage it may, somehow cause you as an end user. Use at own risk.
Also yes, I did add clickable links so it'd be phone/touch screen potential but I think the more authentic experience is to use the keyboard as we did back in the days before Windows 95 and mouse-powered graphic orientated interfaces became the standard.
