Dungeon Hobby Shop on 1 March 2025, reposts a Facebook post by Mick McArt announcing Ernie's passing and Mick's thoughts on it. Dungeon Hobby Shop's only comment: A loss of another legend our friend and brother.

Ernie was never a legend, and I personally think the idea Justin thought of him as a brother is absurd.
