According to Ken it was a game that received critical acclaim for it’s strong mechanics and dark humour. Prior to that he was mostly known for his numerous outstanding Kickstarters that he is clearly making no effort to fulfill. Now, to be clear, I don’t think that failing to fulfil a Kickstarter is a cardinal sin. Things happen, risk is inherent. But it is considered bad form to just ignore them (except for updates telling people you’re not) and start up entirely new projects of similar types targeting the same crowd.

Also to be completely clear here, Ken seems to proactively embrace that what he’s making is in fact bottom of the barrel slop. He just thinks he should be celebrated and paid handsomely for doing it because other people have made low-effort, bad products in the past:

But yeah, he’s 11+ years behind on pencils the you can use as dice—a thing we now have a 3D printing solution for.

He also claims to have released over 30 games, with his book, but 100+ with his Facebook page, but his web site also (used to) list games that either only seem to exist conceptually or were part of his unfufilled Kickstarters… it’s hard to tell since he nuked it and well, the dynamic generating had unforseen consequences

Yes, this is Ken referring to himself not just in 3rd person but in plural, and no I don’t think you can actually buy any of these games – The Deck Dice is a still unfufilled Kickstarter.

  • Joined Elmore Productions in 2000.

This is not really the work history or portfolio of a guy who was blackballed from the industry and assumed to be a paedophile.
